Safe Installations And Safe Showrooms

It’s been lovely to get back to some kind of normality over these last few weeks, with our installers returning to fitting products at homes across the region, and our customers returning to our Galashiels showroom for private, one-to-one appointments. 

We have to give immense credit to our employees for how professionally they have adjusted to their new way of working, and also say THANK YOU to another very important set of people, our amazing customers. Your support has been unrelenting throughout. 

The patience shown by those customers who were left with a half-installed product because of us having to cease installing it when the lockdown was first announced has been particularly incredible. 

Most of these half-finished projects have now been completed – good things come to those who wait. 

There’s been no drop off in business, thankfully. The appetite for our products’ remains high. 

Our order books are looking busy for the next few months, and you, yourself, might have an installation pencilled in with us. 

If you have, we look forward to coming to your home and getting the job done. 

All of our installations are being carried out in compliance with the safety rules outlined in the GGF Safe Guide, with masks being worn, social distancing being observed and any surfaces touched being regularly deep-cleaned. 

Your safety always comes first, and the same can also be said when you come for a private showroom appointment. 

We haven’t yet got to the stage where we want to open the showroom up to everyone as we feel that a lot of people for now will be more comfortable enjoying our products in their own space. 

During a private appointment, it’s just you and a product demonstrator, who will have been temperature-checked beforehand, and ahead of your arrival, the showroom is thoroughly cleaned, with masks and sanitising stations prepared. 

It is completely Covid-secure, so you can walk around and talk without worry. 

We will be keeping our Virtual Appointments system open though if you want to plan your home improvements from home.
