Before the Project: Preparing & Organising

Our first step will be to carry out an initial site survey. This provides us with a general overview of what the project will involve, which is essential for preparing an accurate quote.

Once you’ve placed your order, we’ll organise a full survey. This will be more detailed, including precise measurements, identifying any potential challenges, and ensuring everything is in place for the final installation.

During our assessment, we may discover that planning permission or building regulations approval is required. If so, we’ll assist with drafting and submitting the necessary documentation.

During the Project: Our Approach To Work

The Mitchell Glass fitting team will arrive on time and introduce themselves. Before starting, they’ll walk you through the work schedule so you’re clear on the process, and they’ll perform a final check of the product you’ve chosen.

We follow strict safety guidelines to ensure the protection of both our team and your family, as well as to keep your home safe. We kindly ask that young children and pets are kept out of the work area for everyone’s safety.

To protect your home, dust sheets will be placed over furniture and surfaces. Once the installation is complete, we’ll handle all the cleaning in the work area for you.

After the Project: Product Demo & Aftercare Support

Before we leave, you’ll have the chance to inspect the installation and make sure you’re completely satisfied. We’ll also take you through a demo, showing off all the fantastic features of your new product.

As we wrap up, we’ll provide you with your guarantee certificate – we recommend giving it a read so you know exactly what’s covered. You’ll also receive a downloadable guide with tips on how to care for your new installation.
