Regular visitors to our blog may remember us mentioning a few months’ ago that work had commenced on the Borders Railway, a 30-mile stretch of railway line between Edinburgh and Tweedbank.

Roughly half of the project has been completed ahead of the line opening in September 2015 but in the meantime you will notice that there is an awful lot going on close to our Galashiels showroom. We just wanted to make you aware, contrary to the potentially misleading signage, that although it appears that the whole of Currie Road is closed off, customers can still get along past the Asda roundabout to reach us. Visitors to our showroom will also soon be treated to a brand new addition to the site as the finishing touches are currently being applied to our new Gardenia orangery. It comes in a UPVC cream woodgrain effect which looks magnificently appealing on the eye and contains pillars and a pelmet system to enable the lighting of the high roof guttering. To complete the look we have laid a walnut floor to give it an added contemporary feel. Summer is a great time of year to contemplate having an orangery installed at your home and they don’t come any better than the Gardenia.
