Mitchell Glass Assists With A Capital A

It’s always flattering to be asked to provide our market-leading glazed solutions to companies undertaking ambitious client projects.
So, we were delighted when approached by regular cohorts Capital A Architecture for assistance who were in the process of fashioning a contemporary house extension at an Edinburgh residence.

The owners of the property craved extra space, leading to the removal of the external corner of the house so that a large pair of sliding doors could be integrated to connect the new space to the garden.

We supplied Capital A Architecture with an aluminium open corner door comprised of two sliding patio doors to create the open corner. It enables the occupants to walk into the outdoors uninterrupted and looks extraordinarily good.

For those who love the look of the product, we have recreated the door design at our display centre in Galashiels by utilising two sets of bi-folding doors.

Both types of door are available in any RAL colour, with Anthracite Grey being the most popular finish at the moment which gives off ever so subtle hints of blue and green in certain lights.
