Mitchell Glass Helps Modernise Georgian Abode

We’ve recently supplied our specialist glazing services to a super chic property in the heart of Edinburgh where we installed a beautifully crafted frameless bespoke showerscreen in the bathroom area of the luxury residence.

Commissioned and designed by Capital A Architecture, a company whom we have collaborated with on numerous occasions in the past, the project took place at the privately-owned Nine Nelson, a Grade A listed Georgian building located in the New Town. It was done as part of an extensive renovation to help make Nine Nelson an even more desirable proposition to those seeking exceptional holiday lets. As you can see in the image below, it’s clean and minimalist look makes it a huge focal point within the space and it works wonderfully well with the stylish bath and sinks. Unusually, the bathroom is on the street side of the property. Depending on how you look at it either the bath has a great view of the street, or the neighbours have a great view of the bath; users are best reminded to close the shutters when washing or bathing!
