Mitchell Glass Impresses Investors In People Assessor

A week ago Mitchell Glass received a visit from an Investors in People Assessor who conducted an interim review of the company ahead of us working towards the Silver Award.
Investors in People (IIP) has set the standard for better people management in business for the past 25 years and offers three levels of accreditation; Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Attaining IIP accreditation is excellent external verification that as a company Mitchell Glass recognises that looking after our staff properly means that they will look after customers to the highest standard expected.

We are always conscious that we’re only as good as the people who work for us as we look to “delight customers by bringing comfort, light and warmth to their homes through superior service.”

We do so by continuously maintaining values of Fairness and Honest, Excellence and Reassurance, Openness and Transparency, Sincerity and Trust.

Since securing a Bronze Investors in People accreditation two years ago our next inevitable objective has been to push for Silver.

Following numerous interviews and meetings, the Assessor pleasingly provided some encouraging feedback, saying: “It was a very interesting and enjoyable experience speaking to people from a variety of roles and functions within the organisation and staff were highly committed to the business.”
