The Best Winter Album Releases To Enjoy In Your i-Room
No other orangery design in the land can compare to the incredible innovation that is the Mitchell Glass i-Room. How many other home extensions have you seen that come fully fitted with in-built ceiling speakers and integrated wireless connections for i-phone, i-pad or other bluetooth devices that allow a homeowner to play their favourite tunes through their orangery?
No, didn’t think so. It’s the ultimate sound system for householders. Just imagine being able to retreat to your orangery after work, sitting in your favourite chair and popping on a few of your favourite tunes, within a setting that undoubtedly supplies you with the best view of the garden. The end of the year is nigh, but there are still a host of great albums set to be released over the coming weeks that need to be added to the Christmas shopping lists of every music lover. Listening to them in your i-Room will be both a joy and delight. Arcade Fire –Reflektor October 28th sees the release of one of the year’s most highly anticipated albums, Reflektor, the 4th album by Montreal indie rock band Arcade Fire. Fans of the group will have already heard the lead single of the same name, with guest appearance on backing vocals by David Bowie, and seen the newly released video of the band’s performance on Saturday Night Live. Produced by former LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy, expect a very dance-orientated long player. Jake Bugg – Shangri La The 19-year-old from Clifton in Nottingham is on a roll, releasing the follow-up to his multi-platinum selling self-titled debut within the space of just 12 months. The frenzied and energetic lead single ‘What doesn’t kill you’ suggests a change in direction away from the acoustic dominance of his first album, possibly due to the influence of renowned rock producer Rick Rubin. However, the inclusion of ‘Song about love’ demonstrates that Bugg’s vocal rawness has been retained. Robbie Williams – Swings Both Ways It’s been 12 years since the Take That singer released his big band cover album ‘Swing When You’re Winning’, from which his single ‘Somethin’ Stupid’, sang with Nicole Kidman, reached the Christmas number one spot. William’s second collection of crooning classics including ‘Dream a Little Dream’ will feature duets with Lily Allen, Kelly Clarkson and Olly Murs and is set to be a sure-fire hit with mums and dads.
